Erica & Alex | Crystal Ballroom | Toronto Wedding Film

Erica and Alex’s special day was our first wedding of 2022, and our first time filming a wedding in the gorgeous Crystal Ballroom at the Omni King Edward Hotel in downtown Toronto. Spring was in the air, better times lay ahead, and we were excited about launching a new wedding season with such a beautiful wedding. Erica and Alex’s touching wedding ceremony took place at the lofty, gothic and fairytale setting of St. Basil’s Parish Church, followed by family photos and their wedding videography and photography creative session at the University of Toronto. The Crystal Ballroom is a stunning setting for a wedding reception with it’s historic charm featuring, ornate moldings, floor-to-ceiling windows and panoramic city views. Our couple’s celebration there couldn’t have been more perfect from their exciting grand entrance, to their first dance, to the enthusiastic, packed dance floor action!

Kate & Jared | Toronto Winter Wedding

Produced by Summerfield Films

There’s something incredibly special about a winter wedding! The beautiful backdrop of white everywhere, gentle snowflakes falling, so romantic! Such was Kate & Jared’s winter wedding in December 2021. Their wedding venue was the stately clubhouse at the the historic Toronto Golf Club. Their entire day was gorgeous but some of our favorite moments were spent filming outside with the bride and groom during their creative wedding videography and photography session. For everyone attending, it really did feel like Christmas came a week early!

Sarah & John | Graydon Hall Garden Wedding

Produced by Summerfield Films

We love garden weddings and one of the loveliest garden settings in the Toronto area can be found at Graydon Hall Manor. It boasts what we think is the most picturesque processional route from the Manor to the head of the garden space, providing wedding guests with a perfect unhurried view of the groom, bridal party, and finally the bride approaching. As wedding videographers, filming a day like this really is a dream come true for us! We hope you’ll love Sarah & John’s magic day, it truly was a real-life fairytale!

Anna & Tim | Toronto Distillery District Wedding

Produced by Summerfield Films

Toronto’s historic Distillery District is one of our top ten favorite places to film weddings in the city! Anna and Tim were married nearby at the event venue Airship37 in an intimate, beautiful wedding ceremony. The day started with getting ready at The Omni King Edward Hotel on King Street, followed by their first look and creative session amongst the nostalgic 19th-century buildings and pedestrian walkways of the old Distillery. Enjoy their sweet wedding highlights!

Megan & Matthew | Amalfi Coast Elopement

Produced by Summerfield Films | Videography by John Summerfield

Italy’s Amalfi Coast is legendary with travellers as one of the truly breathtaking places on earth. However, it’s also one of the most sought after regions for couples looking for the perfect destination wedding. Megan and Matthew chose the gorgeous Belmond Hotel Caruso in Ravello, on the Amalfi Coast, as the setting for their elopement wedding. Perched on a hilltop more than 1200 feet above the Mediterranean, the pastoral, old-world town of Ravello is truly a gem of the Amalfi Coast, and the luxurious, world-class Belmond Hotel Caruso is every bit as magical as the town of Ravello itself. Megan and Matthew were married in a sweet, emotional ceremony set in a verdant olive grove on the terraces at the foot of the hotel. They exchanged touching wedding vows they had written to each other and chose to share a wine blending ceremony to honour the blending of their lives. They then set off to explore the streets and piazza in Ravello for some amazing wedding photos and of course, wedding videography 🙂 Tanta felicità Megan & Matthew!

Rosamond & Steve | Muskoka Bay Resort

Produced by Summerfield Films

It was the Labour Day holiday long weekend when an email from wedding planner extraordinaire Karina Lemke popped into our inbox. “I know this is incredibly short notice…” she wrote, “but are you available for a wedding in Muskoka next weekend?”. Thankfully yes, we were! Back story – during their wedding planning Rosamond and Steve had considered wedding videography for their special day but decided to stick with just photography. However, just one week before the big day, they changed their minds. We’re so glad it worked out! Roz and Steve have a great love for the outdoors and adventure, so Muskoka Bay Resort on the edge of Gravenhurst was the perfect wedding venue for their entire day! It really is a gorgeous setting! Enjoy their beautiful wedding highlights film!

Laura & Maciek | The Royal Ontario Museum

Produced by Summerfield Films | Videography by John Summerfield & Sri Vemuri

It was the kind of Spring day that makes you happy to be alive, when the weather is perfect and warm, the birds are singing, and the cherry blossoms are in full bloom. This was just such a day for Laura and Maciek’s wedding. The day started with both the bride and then the groom, getting ready at the bride’s house. Our filming captured the whole place bubbling with laughter and excitement as hair and makeup was being applied, speeches were being written, food and refreshments were being enjoyed, and dresses and suits were put on. Our wedding couple’s first look was beautiful as Laura’s bedroom door swung open to reveal each of them to the other. Their wedding ceremony took place mid afternoon at the soaring, breathtaking Trinity College Chapel. The processional was riveting as the bridesmaids and flower girls walked the length of the chapel in gorgeous dresses holding stunning bouquets, followed by Laura & Maciek who appeared together, arm-in-arm, both looking incredibly elegant. A beautiful service was conducted by Laura’s uncle who is an ordained minister, and when the two were finally officially married, the wedding party headed for several nearby locations on the University of Toronto grounds for wedding pictures and creative wedding videography. Their wedding reception took place at the Royal Ontario Museum in the presence of the dinosaurs, a Buddha statue, suits of armour, and many other ancient museum relics. The day was so memorable… as wedding videographers we were so happy to have been able to film such beautiful places and events during the entire wedding day. The result is what we consider to be a couple of gorgeous wedding films and Laura & Maciek agreed. We hope you enjoy their wedding highlights film.
