A Waterfront Wedding in Oakville

The weather September 5th was picture perfect for Angie and Scott’s Oakville waterfront wedding! Once they were ready, the couple started their special day with a Buddhist wedding ceremony at the bride’s house, then exchanged vows during their touching outdoor wedding ceremony, under a lovely gazebo on Bronte’s waterfront. Their wedding reception followed just a few hundred metres away at the Harbour Banquet Centre on the Lake Ontario waterfront. Such a pleasure to work with this sweet, wonderful couple, enjoy their wedding highlights film!

A Windsor Wedding

Tina and Andrew were married at St. Angela Merici Church in Windsor, with their reception at the Giovanni Caboto Club, and their wedding day turned out to be sunny and perfect! We gasped when we walked into the Tina’s bedroom that morning and saw the gorgeous bride, her stunning wedding gown, and the incredible light filtering through a single bay window. The results (as you’ll see) are perhaps the most beautiful “bride getting into her dress” moments we’ve ever filmed – so dramatic, so amazing! After their touching ceremony, we went with the newlyweds to stately Willistead Manor to film their creative session, then back to the Caboto Club for the reception. We were awestruck again at the elegant and dramatic decor – simply jaw dropping. However, nothing could overshadow Tina and Andrew, a wonderful and genuine couple. Congratulations! We hope you enjoy their Wedding Highlights video!

Stephanie & Ken at Liberty Grand Toronto

We had been looking forward to Stephanie and Ken’s wedding day ever since our meeting in a Toronto coffee shop more than a year previous. They’re an immediately likeable, charming couple and we couldn’t wait to work with them – we’re so pleased they chose us for their wedding videography. The weather that Saturday was sunny and warm, perfect really. As Toronto wedding videographers, we see many impressive churches in and around the GTA, but Stephanie and Ken’s choice for their wedding ceremony took our breath away. St. Basil’s Church at St. Michael’s College was built in 1856, with a design based on 13th century English Gothic architecture. The exterior of the church is lovely, but the interior is stunning, unlike anything we’ve seen. After their beautiful ceremony, the newlyweds visited the University of Toronto and then the Lower Humber parklands for photo and video sessions. Their wedding reception was held at Liberty Grand and the hall was absolutely beautiful, filled with amazing décor. We hope you enjoy their wedding highlights video as much as we did producing it!

Chen & Andrew at Chateau Le Jardin | Toronto Jewish Wedding Videographers

Chen & Andrew’s wedding day was greeted by grey skies and on and off again showers, but the dreary Toronto weather didn’t dampen anyone’s spirits! The couple decided to have their bride and groom prep at their respective homes, with their families around them. Andrew then travelled to Chen’s for their first look. Sometimes when we film a couple’s first look, they are alone (besides the wedding videographers and wedding photographer of course) and sometimes, there is a small audience looking on. in this case, there was a large audience of family members and bridesmaids, and they were very excited. It was such a sweet, memorable first look! We loved it!
We then moved on to the quaint village of Kleinburg, north of Toronto for Chen and Andrew’s creative wedding videography and wedding photography session. Kleinburg’s main street Islington Avenue is a lovely spot for this and we got some great shots, but the rain didn’t make things easy. Then it was off to the ceremony and reception venue Chateau Le Jardin in Woodbridge. There was a period of time set aside for family photos and mingling with friends and family. Eventually the foyer filled and it was time for the Jewish wedding customs to take begin – the Tish, signing of the Ketubah, and the veiling ceremony – the Bedeken. We love to film these Jewish wedding customs because they are deeply meaningful, exciting and contain beautiful moments before the marriage ceremony takes place. Chen and Andrew’s wedding canopy, the chuppa, was so beautiful as was the entire room. Their ceremony of course was the highlight of the day, touching, beautiful, coming to an end with the well-loved custom of breaking the glass, which Andrew did with enthusiasm followed instantly by many voices shouting mazel tov!
Soon after, one of the most exciting parts of the day takes place… the Hora dance. All the anticipation and excitement that has been building all day comes to a peak with this traditional dance where the bride and groom are lifted high above the crowd on chairs. Family and friends dance ecstatically in circle as the couple tries not to look down. This is a time when we wedding videographers have to be careful not to get flattened in all the celebrating!
We were so happy to be there to film all the wonderful events of Chen and Andrew’s day and look forward to editing their full Feature Wedding Film. In the meantime, here’s their exciting and beautiful Wedding Highlights in just a few minutes!

Lyndsey & Marco at Caesar’s Palace | Windsor Wedding Videography

While we are Toronto wedding videographers, we love packing our bags, heading to the airport, and travelling to gorgeous destinations to capture beautiful destination weddings. However, we also enjoy getting in the car for more conservative road trips to a destination weddings a few hours away from Toronto. Recently we made the 4-hour drive to Windsor to capture Lyndsey and Marco’s wedding day. They were really serious about having us film their wedding video – they had seen our work, loved it, and booked us almost a year and a half before their wedding!
Their ceremony took place in Holy Name of Mary Roman Catholic Church, a gorgeous cathedral inside and out. We do love a beautiful church, and this one definitely gave us an opportunity to use our wedding videography artistry and expertise to capture the ceremony along with the character and beauty of the venue.
Following their wedding ceremony, we joined Lyndsey and Marco at Coventry Gardens along the riverfront for their creative video session. The Gardens are absolutely stunning, with many winding pathways and little private spots where we captured some great video shots. The skies were a grey and brooding but we were just happy it didn’t rain. After our filming session, we left the couple to the wedding photographers and headed back to Caesars for the reception. Caesars Windsor is the Canadian counterpart of Caesars Palace in Las Vegas and is indeed a spectacle with it’s Roman architecture and opulent design. Setup of the ballroom was almost completed when we arrived to do some filming and the décor was gorgeous! A gold and pink color scheme, towering centerpieces, a classic, romantic multi-tier wedding cake, there was no shortage of beauty to capture with our cameras!
As you’ll see on their wedding highlights film, what followed was a spirited and enthusiastic celebration and amazing evening! We’re so pleased that Lyndsey and Marco chose us for their wedding videography, we hope you enjoy their Windsor wedding!

Kaitlin & Adil at Graydon Hall Manor | Toronto Wedding Videography

Produced by Summerfield Films | Directed by John Summerfield | Videography by John Summerfield & Sri Vemuri

We love Toronto weddings. The variety of wedding venues in this city is truly astonishing. Waterfront venues, a castle, a theatre, historic distillery, world class hotels, and so many other amazing choices: and of course, an elegant Georgian Manor discreetly located (unknown to many) in North York. One of the premiere wedding venues in Toronto, Graydon Hall Manor is definitely one of our favorites – our wedding videography artfully captures it’s stately architecture, verdant gardens and romantic air. This beautiful place was the setting for Kaitlin & Adil’s wedding.
While Graydon Hall is an amazing spot, all eyes were on Kaitlin and Adil on their day. Like all of our wedding couples, they are wonderful, warm people… the kind of people that other people want to be around. These Toronto wedding videographers were thrilled to film it all. It was a perfect day, and there were so many amazing moments that we couldn’t include them all in their highlights film, but we think we did pretty well!

Melissa & Chris at The Ritz-Carlton| Toronto Wedding Videography

Produced by Summerfield Films | Directed by John Summerfield | Videography by John Summerfield, Sri Vemuri, Silvio Bulgaretti

Melissa and Chris chose the fashionable Ritz-Carlton, Toronto for their wedding day and it was a truly beautiful event. We had our work cut out for us shooting their wedding film, even with three wedding videographers… there seemed to be no end to the gorgeous styling and decorating. Some of our favorites were the flowering trees throughout the ceremony hall, the gorgeous table settings, the Chinese sedan chair containing the bride, the colorful and noisy lion dancers, the origami decorations, it was a long list. We really enjoyed filming Melissa and Chris’s cinematic wedding video, they are a wonderful couple, and this lavish wedding was one of the highlights of our year.
