Isabel & Michael at Liberty Grand | Toronto Wedding Videographers

Isabel and Michael’s wedding theme, basis for their Twitter hash tag, and recent mantra, is their invented phrase, “It’s kind of a big deal!”. We completely agree! It was definitely a big deal. A Toronto wedding videographers, we love the many stunning wedding venues that our wedding couples choose in the city and greater Toronto area. So many beautiful places, and one of our consistent top ten favorites is the stately Liberty Grand, where Isabel and Michael decided to have both their wedding ceremony and reception. After their bridal prep and groom prep, the couple had their touching first look in the courtyard. We then made our way to nearby Liberty Village with it’s restored 19th century architecture for their creative wedding video and wedding photos session. The wedding ceremony was lovely and included beautiful Filipino wedding traditions and customs such as the unity candle, coins, cord, and veil. Amazing couple, amazing venue, amazing wedding day. We hope you enjoy it through our wedding videography and the result, Isabel and Michael’s wedding highlights film. After all…. it’s kind of a big deal!

Mia & Mat at Madsen’s Gardens, Newmarket | Wedding Cinematography

Mia and Mat’s wedding day was situated on the northern edge of the Greater Toronto Area in the Bradford and Newmarket area. As we approached Mia’s location where our wedding videography would begin with her bridal prep, we were struck by the understated beauty of this area. Adjacent to the Holland Marsh, the Oak Ridges Moraine and Lake Simcoe, it’s a rich agricultural area surrounded by beautiful rolling hills and southern Ontario woodlands. It really gives you a smalltown, rural area feeling. At the house where Mia was getting ready, we felt very welcome by her sweet, warm family. Mat, we heard, had been busy washing and babying his pickup truck for the big day and was surrounded by his groomsmen. The Roman Catholic church for Mia and Mat’s wedding ceremony in Bradford was huge and quite beautiful. Our wedding cinematography captured all of their touching ceremony. Mia is of Filipino descent and the lovely Filipino wedding traditions of the coins, cord, and veil were a very important part of their ceremony. When we finally saw the wedding reception venue, we were delighted. Madsen’s in Newmarket is very unique, a very spacious greenhouse setting with trees, and tropical plants of all description everywhere. There’s even a beautiful waterfall inside. Needless to say, it was a beautiful setting for their wedding reception and provided a perfect ending to their wedding day!

Kanan & Arif at Palais Royale | Toronto Waterfront Wedding Videography

“Kanan & Arif at Palais Royale, Toronto” Produced by Summerfield Films | Directed by John Summerfield | Videography by John Summerfield & Sri Vemuri

Kanan & Arif held their beautiful summer wedding ceremony and reception at the glamorous Palais Royale, on the Toronto waterfront. Filming their wedding video at this venue was such a treat… their ceremony took place on the patio at the water’s edge and their reception was celebrated in the Palais Royale’s nostalgic ballroom just a few steps away. Some highlights for us were the touching ceremony, Kanan’s mehndi session, and the wedding couple’s first dance where it was plain to see that they completely adore each other.

Vivian & James at the King Edward Hotel | Toronto Wedding Video

Vivian & James’ wedding day came, accompanied by weather like a western Chinook; after weeks of unbearable arctic deep freeze, the Toronto winter warmed up to within a few degrees of 0C. it was like a sign to all attending their wedding, that Vivian & James day would truly be a special one. Indeed it was. It was our first time filming at the King Edward Hotel in downtown Toronto and our wedding videography captured many amazing images of the grand venue. There we many amazing moments throughout the day, foremost of which were of course, Vivian & James’ touching wedding ceremony in the stunning Sovereign Ballroom and memorable reception in the opulent Vanity Fair Ballroom. The couple and bridal party’s photo and video session took place at palatial Union Station on Front Street. It was an amazing winter wedding and we invite you to watch their gorgeous highlights video!

Joanne & Tim at Willow Springs Winery | Outdoor Wedding Videographers

There’s something about a wedding at a winery that is so unique and wonderful to behold. As Toronto wedding videographers, we film all over the city at many urban venues, most of them quite breathtaking. However, on occasion we get the opportunity to drive beyond the city limits and film weddings in some of the sweet rural venues that lie near the edges of the GTA. Willow Springs Winery in the countryside near Stouffville is just such a rural venue, and the spot Joanne and Tim decided on as the place where they would be married. Their wedding day was a busy one with no shortage of activity to capture for their wedding video: bride and groom prep, door games, tea services in two different locations, their first look, and that’s just for starters! Their day was brilliant, sunny, and beautiful. The wedding couple were thrilled, oh so photogenic, and as they should be… very much in love. Our video cameras caught many special moments, which we’d like to share with you here. Enjoy Joanne and Tim’s wedding highlights film! Nicole & John at 99 Sudbury | Toronto Wedding Videography

“Nicole & John at 99 Sudbury, Toronto” Produced by Summerfield Films | Directed by John Summerfield | Videography by John Summerfield & Sri Vemuri

As wedding videographers, our work usually begins the morning of the wedding. However, after our first meeting with Nicole & John, it was agreed that a wedding videography related trip to Halifax, Nova Scotia several months before their wedding was a must. You see, Nicole grew up in Nova Scotia and much of her family and many of her friends are there. So this past June, we arrived in Halifax and started filming a bit early for their wedding video. First was their engagement party at a rustic family cottage on a picturesque lake a half-hour from Halifax. Friends and family gathered to celebrate Nicole & John’s engagement and approaching wedding with music, food, and a very touching lakeside candlelight ceremony. The next evening, celebrations took place at an East Coast Party at a waterfront restaurant in nearby Dartmouth. Several months later, on a Saturday in September we captured Nicole & John’s wedding day. It was a magic day with many memorable moments. Their downtown Toronto wedding ceremony was held at a Catholic church followed by a their reception at the loft-like venue 99 Sudbury near Liberty Village. Their east coast celebrations AND their wedding day were a lot to fit into their 3-4 minute highlights wedding video but we think we did pretty well! Enjoy!
