Lauren & Kenneth | Fairmont Royal York Asian Wedding

Lauren & Kenneth chose the Fairmont Royal York in downtown Toronto as the setting for their amazing wedding. The day started at their respective homes where bride and groom each got ready with their bridesmaids and groomsmen. Kenneth arrived at Lauren’s place in the early afternoon but as the custom for an Asian wedding, he had to persuade the bridesmaid to let him and his entourage through the front door. He and his guys first had to master the door games that the girls had planned while Lauren watched through FaceTime upstairs in another room. After a lot of fun and laughter, Kenneth finally got the go ahead to see his bride for the first time on wedding day. First stop was Kenneth’s home where a tea ceremony was performed with the groom’s family. This tradition was followed by Lauren getting into her white wedding dress. The couple’s touching first look took place in front of the house. Ater a few photos, the wedding party jumped into the limo to be whisked off to the University of Toronto. Perfect setting for their creative session with the wedding photographer and wedding videographer. a few hours later at the Fairmont Royal York, they exchanged their forever vows and exchanged rings in a very emotional ceremony officiated by Tade the Marrying Lady. The reception space afterwards was a gorgeous sight with beautiful florals everywhere and the celebration was incredible!

Erica & Alex | Crystal Ballroom | Wedding Videography

Erica and Alex’s special day was our first wedding of 2022, and our first time filming a wedding in the gorgeous Crystal Ballroom at the Omni King Edward Hotel in downtown Toronto. Spring was in the air, better times lay ahead, and we were excited about launching a new wedding season with such a beautiful wedding. Erica and Alex’s touching wedding ceremony took place at the lofty, gothic and fairytale setting of St. Basil’s Parish Church, followed by family photos and their wedding videography and photography creative session at the University of Toronto. The Crystal Ballroom is a stunning setting for a wedding reception with it’s historic charm featuring, ornate moldings, floor-to-ceiling windows and panoramic city views. Our couple’s celebration there couldn’t have been more perfect from their exciting grand entrance, to their first dance, to the enthusiastic, packed dance floor action!

Megan & Matthew | Amalfi Coast Elopement

Produced by Summerfield Films | Videography by John Summerfield

Italy’s Amalfi Coast is legendary with travellers as one of the truly breathtaking places on earth. However, it’s also one of the most sought after regions for couples looking for the perfect destination wedding. Megan and Matthew chose the gorgeous Belmond Hotel Caruso in Ravello, on the Amalfi Coast, as the setting for their elopement wedding. Perched on a hilltop more than 1200 feet above the Mediterranean, the pastoral, old-world town of Ravello is truly a gem of the Amalfi Coast, and the luxurious, world-class Belmond Hotel Caruso is every bit as magical as the town of Ravello itself. Megan and Matthew were married in a sweet, emotional ceremony set in a verdant olive grove on the terraces at the foot of the hotel. They exchanged touching wedding vows they had written to each other and chose to share a wine blending ceremony to honour the blending of their lives. They then set off to explore the streets and piazza in Ravello for some amazing wedding photos and of course, wedding videography 🙂 Tanta felicità Megan & Matthew!

Rosamond & Steve | Muskoka Bay Resort

Produced by Summerfield Films

It was the Labour Day holiday long weekend when an email from wedding planner extraordinaire Karina Lemke popped into our inbox. “I know this is incredibly short notice…” she wrote, “but are you available for a wedding in Muskoka next weekend?”. Thankfully yes, we were! Back story – during their wedding planning Rosamond and Steve had considered wedding videography for their special day but decided to stick with just photography. However, just one week before the big day, they changed their minds. We’re so glad it worked out! Roz and Steve have a great love for the outdoors and adventure, so Muskoka Bay Resort on the edge of Gravenhurst was the perfect wedding venue for their entire day! It really is a gorgeous setting! Enjoy their beautiful wedding highlights film!

Laura & Maciek | The Royal Ontario Museum

Produced by Summerfield Films | Videography by John Summerfield & Sri Vemuri

It was the kind of Spring day that makes you happy to be alive, when the weather is perfect and warm, the birds are singing, and the cherry blossoms are in full bloom. This was just such a day for Laura and Maciek’s wedding. The day started with both the bride and then the groom, getting ready at the bride’s house. Our filming captured the whole place bubbling with laughter and excitement as hair and makeup was being applied, speeches were being written, food and refreshments were being enjoyed, and dresses and suits were put on. Our wedding couple’s first look was beautiful as Laura’s bedroom door swung open to reveal each of them to the other. Their wedding ceremony took place mid afternoon at the soaring, breathtaking Trinity College Chapel. The processional was riveting as the bridesmaids and flower girls walked the length of the chapel in gorgeous dresses holding stunning bouquets, followed by Laura & Maciek who appeared together, arm-in-arm, both looking incredibly elegant. A beautiful service was conducted by Laura’s uncle who is an ordained minister, and when the two were finally officially married, the wedding party headed for several nearby locations on the University of Toronto grounds for wedding pictures and creative wedding videography. Their wedding reception took place at the Royal Ontario Museum in the presence of the dinosaurs, a Buddha statue, suits of armour, and many other ancient museum relics. The day was so memorable… as wedding videographers we were so happy to have been able to film such beautiful places and events during the entire wedding day. The result is what we consider to be a couple of gorgeous wedding films and Laura & Maciek agreed. We hope you enjoy their wedding highlights film.

Natalie & Jim | The Cotton Factory, Hamilton

Produced by Summerfield Films | Videography by John Summerfield & Sri Vemuri

When Natalie and Jim first contacted us about wedding videography, they explained that they initially decided not to hire a videographer to capture their wedding day. But just a month out, they changed their mind. Fortunately we were still available for their October wedding date and they went ahead with booking us. We were excited to learn that their ceremony was going to take place in Hamilton’s Cathedral Basilica of Christ the King! What a magnificent setting for a wedding! Jim and Natalie’s emotions as they exchanged vows and rings during the ceremony were deeply moving, and there weren’t many dry eyes among their guests. Afterward, we tagged along to film their wedding photography session at nearby Princess Point. The Fall colors were stunning! The reception took place at The Cotton Factory in central Hamilton, an old industrial building whose upper floor loft space has been re-purposed for events. The wood floors, the walls, the place is loaded with character and rustic charm! It was absolutely beautiful as you see in their wedding highlights film.
