It was the kind of Spring day that makes you happy to be alive, when the weather is perfect and warm, the birds are singing, and the cherry blossoms are in full bloom. This was just such a day for Laura and Maciek’s wedding. The day started with both the bride and then the groom, getting ready at the bride’s house. Our filming captured the whole place bubbling with laughter and excitement as hair and makeup was being applied, speeches were being written, food and refreshments were being enjoyed, and dresses and suits were put on. Our wedding couple’s first look was beautiful as Laura’s bedroom door swung open to reveal each of them to the other. Their wedding ceremony took place mid afternoon at the soaring, breathtaking Trinity College Chapel. The processional was riveting as the bridesmaids and flower girls walked the length of the chapel in gorgeous dresses holding stunning bouquets, followed by Laura & Maciek who appeared together, arm-in-arm, both looking incredibly elegant. A beautiful service was conducted by Laura’s uncle who is an ordained minister, and when the two were finally officially married, the wedding party headed for several nearby locations on the University of Toronto grounds for wedding pictures and creative wedding videography. Their wedding reception took place at the Royal Ontario Museum in the presence of the dinosaurs, a Buddha statue, suits of armour, and many other ancient museum relics. The day was so memorable… as wedding videographers we were so happy to have been able to film such beautiful places and events during the entire wedding day. The result is what we consider to be a couple of gorgeous wedding films and Laura & Maciek agreed. We hope you enjoy their wedding highlights film.

Sarah & Ivan at Cardinal RedCrest | Greater Toronto Area Wedding
Sarah & Ivan’s big day started out with Ivan and his groomsmen on the golf course for a wedding morning round while Sarah and her bridesmaids were getting ready a short distance away. On both their minds was the weather. the plan was for an outdoor ceremony but rain was a very real possibility. Once everyone was ready in gowns and tuxedos, Sarah and her father met for their touching first look. A short time after, Sarah and Ivan saw each other for the first time on their wedding day during their emotional reveal. Their ceremony was amazing – one of the most beautiful and heartfelt of our wedding season, with vows that touched everyone in attendance deeply. And we’re happy to report that the rain… well it decided to go somewhere else!
“Thanks John. We love it!!!! You did an amazing job. It’s absolutely beautiful. Can’t wait to see the full feature film 🙂 Thanks again!!”

Melissa & Chris at The Ritz-Carlton| Toronto Wedding Videography
Produced by Summerfield Films | Directed by John Summerfield | Videography by John Summerfield, Sri Vemuri, Silvio Bulgaretti
Melissa and Chris chose the fashionable Ritz-Carlton, Toronto for their wedding day and it was a truly beautiful event. We had our work cut out for us shooting their wedding film, even with three wedding videographers… there seemed to be no end to the gorgeous styling and decorating. Some of our favorites were the flowering trees throughout the ceremony hall, the gorgeous table settings, the Chinese sedan chair containing the bride, the colorful and noisy lion dancers, the origami decorations, it was a long list. We really enjoyed filming Melissa and Chris’s cinematic wedding video, they are a wonderful couple, and this lavish wedding was one of the highlights of our year.

Kathy & George | Eglington Grand Wedding Videography
Produced by Summerfield Films | Directed by John Summerfield | Videography by John Summerfield & Sri Vemuri
When we first met with Kathy and George about their wedding videography and wedding video, we knew this was a wedding couple with spark! When we arrived at The Hair Studio at Ashgrove Spa to film bridal prep of Kathy & some of her bridesmaids’ having their hair done, we were greeted by a bride who was totally enthused and in a party mood! That set the tone for a joy filled and exciting wedding day. The couple’s wedding ceremony took place in Markham at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church. When we walked inside for the first time, we were very impressed with the beautiful church murals and mosaics, the unique dome ceiling, rich colors, and dark, rich wood trim everywhere. It made for beautiful wedding cinematography! The ceremony was poignant and sweet, and immediately after, the happy couple were whisked away to downtown Toronto in a white vintage Rolls Royce. As wedding videographers, we love a jaw dropping location for the creative videography session and for interiors, it’s hard to beat the charming Fairmont Royal York Hotel on Front Street. The happy couple rented a gorgeous suite for their wedding photos and cinematography and we captured some stunning shots using steadicam and cinematic slider. An hour later we were shooting video of the elegantly decorated reception hall at the historic Eglinton Grand in midtown Toronto. The room was elegantly decorated with an art deco theme, most stunning were the lofty feather adorned centerpieces and the lavish head tables. The wedding reception was fantastic… one of the highlights of the evening was a surprise performance by an aerialist who provided a Cirque de Soliel type performance, performing breathtaking acrobatic maneuvers some 20 feet directly above the crowd. As you’ll see in this highlights wedding video, this was a wedding full of fun and joy… a wedding to remember! Enjoy!

Kanan & Arif at Palais Royale | Toronto Waterfront Wedding Videography
“Kanan & Arif at Palais Royale, Toronto” Produced by Summerfield Films | Directed by John Summerfield | Videography by John Summerfield & Sri Vemuri
Kanan & Arif held their beautiful summer wedding ceremony and reception at the glamorous Palais Royale, on the Toronto waterfront. Filming their wedding video at this venue was such a treat… their ceremony took place on the patio at the water’s edge and their reception was celebrated in the Palais Royale’s nostalgic ballroom just a few steps away. Some highlights for us were the touching ceremony, Kanan’s mehndi session, and the wedding couple’s first dance where it was plain to see that they completely adore each other.
Joanne & Tim at Willow Springs Winery | Outdoor Wedding Videographers
There’s something about a wedding at a winery that is so unique and wonderful to behold. As Toronto wedding videographers, we film all over the city at many urban venues, most of them quite breathtaking. However, on occasion we get the opportunity to drive beyond the city limits and film weddings in some of the sweet rural venues that lie near the edges of the GTA. Willow Springs Winery in the countryside near Stouffville is just such a rural venue, and the spot Joanne and Tim decided on as the place where they would be married. Their wedding day was a busy one with no shortage of activity to capture for their wedding video: bride and groom prep, door games, tea services in two different locations, their first look, and that’s just for starters! Their day was brilliant, sunny, and beautiful. The wedding couple were thrilled, oh so photogenic, and as they should be… very much in love. Our video cameras caught many special moments, which we’d like to share with you here. Enjoy Joanne and Tim’s wedding highlights film! Cambridge Mill Wedding | Toronto Wedding Video Videography
Nancy & Mina began their wedding day in Mississauga for their bridal and groom prep, and were married in an afternoon ceremony there at a Coptic Orthodox Church. Everyone then hopped into the limo and travelled to Cambridge (near Kitchener-Waterloo) for their reception at the Cambridge Mill. What a fabulous venue, rustic and historic, right on the sleepy Grand River… so picturesque! The guest and head tables featured centerpieces and other decorative elements that were equally as rustic as the Mill, incorporating materials like old barnboard, burlap and mason jars. A couple of high points for us on the wedding videography side were the cigars that came out during wedding photos by the river (enjoyed by girls and boys alike!), and the grand entrance by the wedding couple, which ignited a very intense Harlem Shake by the bridal party.
